Our experienced research and development department (R & D) prepares recipes according to your requirements and according to the respective certification standards. Each of our products becomes a subject to various safety and quality tests. Our developers are only satisfied with the optimum.

Our clear target for the R & D department is the recipes development, which are placed at the top Ökotest. The best-known consumer protection magazine is testing many of our developments. Our experience, our understanding of the quality, as well as our exchange with the organization and its test methods, make it possible for us to design products in such a way that they generally achieve good and very good results at Ökotest.

NATURAL RAW MATERIALS

As a natural cosmetics company, we attach great importance to natural raw materials. For our products, we prefer vegetable oils, fats, waxes - extracts, essential oils and flavors from organic farming (certified organic) or wild collection.

We offer the best quality and pay attention to:

• STRONG CONTROLS

Each commodity must be able to be traced and to be of optimum quality. Our quality assurance system checks every incoming goods receipt. It does not matter whether it is raw materials or packaging materials. All "new entries" are scrutinized according to strict and firm criteria.

• GMO FREE

We generally do not use genetically modified raw materials.

• SUSTAINABILITY

We are thinking about the sustainability of our raw materials. That is why we maintain various cooperation projects and are committed to the sustainable and fair production of certain raw materials.

• WAIVER (PETRO) CHEMICAL

The work according to natural cosmetics standards, as well as our philosophy and attitude towards beauty and their care, inevitably lead to the renouncement of paraffin oils and other petroleum derivatives. In addition, we prefer to work with natural colors and fragrances rather than their synthetic variants.                             

OWN EXTRACTS as trademarks

For years, we have been manufacturing our tried and tested plant extracts from the best raw materials (mostly organic) in our specially designed extraction plant. Due to the highest production standards, we have impeccable and natural ingredients for our products.

Natural cosmetics is not a protected term. In order to help the customers and other end users to distinguish natural cosmetics from genuine natural cosmetics, the products can also be certified with the following certifications.

NATRUE - NGO from Brussels

The international certification for natural and organic cosmetics NATRUE differentiates 3 categories and certified accordingly as natural cosmetics, as natural cosmetics with organic portion, or as organic cosmetics.

The NATRUE standard has a lot in common with the BDIH standard, but it sets specific quality accents. For example, a precisely defined minimum content of authentic natural products and a maximum content of near-natural raw materials.

The Siegel stands for: very high product quality, worldwide recognition, reliable standard, genuine natural cosmetics and independent controls.

BDIH – NGO with German origin



The BDIH standard specifies which raw materials may be used and which are not. Essentially, certified natural and organic cosmetics may only contain natural and natural-based raw materials, preferably in organic quality.

All the provisions of the BDIH standard are anchored in an ethical basis, in which natural and organic cosmetics are not viewed in isolation from one another, but are embedded in a holistic concept of man and nature.

COSMOS (BDIH)


BDIH is one of the founding members of the European Cosmetics Standard Working Group, which have developed the private cosmetics standard COSMOS (Cosmetics Organic and Natural Standard).

In order to harmonize the certification requirements for organic and natural cosmetics, it was merged into AISBL (international non-profit organization based in Brussels).

COSMOS operates according to the following standards:

Promoting the use of organic ingredients, production and production processes that are environmentally friendly and safe for human health, incorporating and expanding the concept of "green chemistry"

In addition to the official natural cosmetics certifications, it is also possible to equip and develop products with the following characteristics. We like to adapt our products to different needs so that people who cannot use any product because of conviction or because of an allergy or intolerance do not have to refuse doing their body care or make up.

Identification GLUTENFREI

People suffering from gluten intolerance or celiac disease must avoid traces of gluten in food and even in cosmetic products.

Identification VEGAN

Products that are labeled as vegan contain exclusively herbal ingredients.

Identification BIO

BIO extracts are gladly highlighted in products and can be presented by their own logos (logo example of the brand LOGONA).

Identification LACTOSE-FREE

Products which are labeled as lactose-free do not contain dairy products.

We work according to different standards to ensure our quality in the manufacture and production of our products. It is particularly important for us to respect the environment and to deal with raw materials with care.

IFS HPC

In recent years, customer expectations for quality and product safety in household and personal care products have increased. To meet customer expectations, IFS developed the IFS Household and Personal Care Product Standard (IFS HPC) with international stakeholders.

The IFS HPC is the standard for ensuring product safety, reducing costs and ensuring transparency across the entire production chain.

It applies to:

• Cosmetic products

• Household products and chemicals

• Household goods for daily use

• Personal hygiene products

UMWELTMANAGEMENT

We work according to the international environmental management standard ISO 14001 and the EMAS III standard. The EMAS III standard includes the environmental statement of LOGOCOS Naturkosmetik AG.

For over 38 years, our company policy has been based on the principle of reconciling economic goals with ecology. We are convinced that we can only succeed in the market if we consider not only our own standards of quality and ecological principles, but also those of the customers.

COSMETICS-GMP (GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES)

We are certified according to Cosmetics-GMP (DIN ISO 22716) and work strictly according to the Cosmetics Ordinance.

We are also certified according to HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points). With both quality management systems, we meet the requirements of the IFS HPC standard.

SUSTAINABILITY mit FONAP

The LOGOCOS Natural Cosmetics AG is a founding member of the Forum on Sustainable Palm Oil (FONAP), which exists since the beginning of 2014. The Forum is a consortium of companies, associations and non-governmental organizations to work together to develop viable solutions for the improvement of practices in the palm oil sector.
